Backup our files is very important. We don’t know what will happen to our hosting in the future. If we are unlucky, our files in the hosting could get lost because of something happen in the hosting. So, to anticipate this, we must backup our files regularly.
Basically, to backup our files is very easy. All we have to do is just save our wordpress files into our local computer. In this articel, I want to show how we could backup our files using one of the most famous FTP client softwares, that’s Filezilla.
First open your Filezilla software, then log in to your wordpress hosting account using Filezilla. You will see the pictures like the following.
From the picture above, you can choose the folder to save your backup files. Then, you just drag the wordpress files from your hosting to the folder you have chosen. It is very easy, isn’t it ? If the files has successfully been transfered, you could see all the files in your folder.
Besides using Filezilla, there are other FTP client softwares we can use. In the next chance, I will try to make article how to backup your wordpress database. This is the same important as backing up your wordpress files because all posting and articles are saved in the database.
